The perfect way to build bridges between cultures, translation is above all a vector for communication, as well as a vehicle for science, culture and business.

Can you imagine Apple, Coca Cola, Samsung and so many other well-known global brands without a translator? What would the world be like without translators? The United Nations could no longer function, and all international organisations would be paralysed.

Translators' work can be compared to an electric current. We translate something, and then we slowly disappear into thin air, without anyone even noticing us. Our job is to take something from one culture to another culture, and to turn misunderstanding into transparency.

But we don't just become a translator because we know how to speak a foreign language, just as it does not spring to mind take on a company accounting role for a company just because we know how to count.
